In response to someone’s question on using ARVE with Gutenberg, you said: ‘am working on this already. You can use the embed and the shortcode block and they work pretty fine with ARVE but its not as convenient as shortcode UI if you are using a lot non default options’
For the short-term, I don’t mind using a workaround to get ARVE to work. However, I have no idea how to get the shortcode from ARVE since it does not show up on the ‘classic editor’ block. I am using WordPress 5.0 and NOT using the classic editor plugin. So if I could get the ARVE generated shortcode, I code copy it into the WordPress 5.0 Shortcode Block. I just can’t figure out how to generate the ARVE shortcode in the new WP 5.0 Editor.
Thanks so much for your great ARVE plugin!

You can not use shortcode UI in Gutenberg its not supported there, Classic Block does not matter. My point about not as convenient was about that, I thought that was clear. Did you read the documentation? What is your exact problem in manually writing shortcodes out? You could setup another WP site with classic editor, generate the shortcodes there and copy them over if this is a big problem for your writing shortcodes yourself. Also the embed block will embed videos with ARVE and default settings.
Version 9 will have a lot of changes not just a new Gutenberg block and it will take some time until its ready.
