I’m getting this error in google search console for my video (Either “contentUrl” or “embedUrl” should be specified) I think everything filled in does anyone know why this error is appearing now after it being fine for a couple of years

I need a link to your site where that video is embedded. It’s strange because that should be filled automatically. What does not get filled in automatically is actually what you have to manually set with shortcodes and that is title=”title” and description=”desc”. So when you embed with a URL that you have NOT filled in everything needed to make the SEO errors disappear.

Hi Nico

Thanks for the reply thats what I presumed, sorry I thought I’d added it https://www.willgray.co.uk
Tried to add a screen shot of the error not sure it worked.

Any help with this would be great never had a problem before only with errors when I’ve not added a date and things this is in the last week.

We’ve just recently started to get the same warning in the Rich Results Test and Search Console: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results?id=4CCy_tz0DwmYb7okiUKswQ

Same issue with both YouTube (https://www.how-2-drive.com/driving-lessons/learner-driver-guide/intermediate-driving-skills/) and Wistia (https://www.how-2-drive.com/driving-school-franchise/) embeds.
