The ArVE button in my WordPress Text editor does nothing when i click it.
I am a pro user and my videos are not auto generating thunbnails for Google Structured Snippets. I am getting constant errors regarding thumbnails in the Google Rich Results Test.
Can you help?
Sorry about that. I can confirm there are 4 videos on the page you provided, and 2 of them fail to pick up the thumbnail. I am not sure if there is anything I can do about it, I checked the shortcode your provided here on this site and I also do not get the thumbnail. The mechanic is working, it’s just these two videos, I just embedded them here https://nextgenthemes.com/arve-test/ on this site and they are working fine here. Could in uninstall ARVE and reinstall it? Because in uninstall, ARVE deletes all the cache for that data and when you run it next time it will regenerate it. Hopefully that will for it.
As for the button, I had a few people report this b4 it seems some rare conflict with another plugin or something like that. Can you hit F12 and see if you have any JavaScript errors? Can you give me a login to your site to inspect it?
I see that you use WP Bakery Page builder. 3rd party builders are not currently fully supported by ARVE. I assume this is what causes the issue. Can you confirm this? Only Classic Editor and Gutenberg have full support. So you will have to manually create the shortcodes. The dialog that opens in classic editor with that button just helps you create a paste normal [arve] shortcodes into the editor, it’s not that much you miss out on if you memorize a few parameters you use. Maybe you can ask the guys of WP Bakery why this may not work, but this is currently out of scope for me.
