After installing and activating the ARVA Pro plugin, Vimeo videos with the privacy setting ‘Who Can Watch’ : ‘People With the Private Link’ don’t get displayed. The error message displayed is ‘ARVE Error: The video is likely no longer available. (The API endpoint returned a 404 error)’:
Videos with the privacy setting ‘Who Can Watch’: ‘Anyone’ on the other hand are displayed properly.
Here’s a test page that exhibits the problem:
If I deinstall the ARVA Pro plugin, videos with the privacy setting ‘Who Can Watch’ : ‘People With the Private Link’ get displayed properly.
I still use the older [vimeo] style shortcodes:
As a side note, I also have an oddity in the ARVA Licenses page, where the license appears valid yet the page says ‘Plugin is installed but not activated’, even though the ARVA plugin is activated:

I can only give you a workaround at this point. If you manually give private videos a thumbnail image and a title then the plugin will not call the API to try to get them. Look here: https://nextgenthemes.com/arve-test/
I am trying to fix this in a future version but I am not sure how best to resolve this.
You are using the old deprecated shortcode BTW. You should better use the arve shortcode.
